With more than 40 years of experience in the design and installation of multimedia systems, Mr. Emspak focuses on the conceptualization and team management of some of our most complex projects--those that involve all of the design disciplines with a particular focus on C4I, Command and Control, Emergency Operations Centers and Network Operations Centers.
Mr. Emspak is a musician and a member of the International Communications Industries Association and the NSCA where he holds a position on the NSCA Education Foundation Board of Directors. Over the years Steve has been involved in new product development in both the audio and video side of the business as well as large scale systems integration. He attended RCA Institutes from 1970 to 1972 and received a degree in applied science for electronics. He also attended the US Army Engineers School, Ft. Belvoir, Va for electronics.
Having been at SM&W since 1988 he has been exposed to every facet of our consulting practice. Recent projects include the Office of the Mayor of New York City Situation & Command Center (Urbahn Architects); the City of New York Public Service Answering Center (PSAC) II (SOM); the New York Police Department Joint Terrorism Operations Center (SOM), and the USSTRACTOM Headquarters, Omaha, Ne. (HDR). |
