With over 18 years of experience, Mr. Shen specializes in the integration of information technology systems and audiovisual systems, with an emphasis on multimedia distribution, IT infrastructure, and technology convergence. His experience also includes large-scale master planning, project management, technology systems programming, and concept design.

Mr. Shen served as the Manager of SM&W’s San Francisco office for 6 years, before returning to the firm’s headquarters in New York to assume additional management and leadership responsibilities. Mr. Shen now oversees many important projects all over the world, and he helps to manage the firm’s global resources to unify coordination efforts on multi-discipline projects. Mr. Shen also leads SM&W’s business development initiatives across the firm, and he speaks regularly at industry conferences and events.

Mr. Shen’s project experience as extensive as is it diverse. He has worked on countless successful projects over his tenure with the firm, and he leverages that experience to provide valuable input to SM&W’s clients. His experience spans many vertical markets, including corporate, higher-education, healthcare, hospitality/gaming, command & control centers, justice, museums, and US Government work.

Mr. Shen’s industry affiliations include Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Society for Simulation in Health (SSH), InfoComm International, the Hotel Next Generation Technology (HTNG), the Society for University & College Planning (SCUP) and the HK Institution of Engineers (HKIE).
