Julie Fischer Presents at AAM’s Annual Meeting & Museum Expo

Julie Fischer, Associate Principal speaking at the 2017 American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting & Museum Expo.

On Tuesday, May 9th, Julie Fischer will walk attendees through a case study of the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) at AAM’s annual meeting in St. Louis.

Julie served as the acoustical consultant for NMAAHC, which had a number of spaces that required acoustical attention above and beyond the typical museum. She will share specific examples of the museums acoustical design, the challenges that arose throughout the design process, and key takeaways that will help others designing a new museum or renovating an existing space.
