Hudson Yards Shops and Restaurants, situated between 10 and 30 Hudson Yards, is located in one of New York City’s premier locations for fashion and dining. The retail center presents a collection of top brands in over 100 shops, while the restaurants feature a collection of New York’s most celebrated cuisine. In addition, the facility offers access to a new, six-acre public plaza and a new subway station.
Shen Milsom & Wilke designed the network-based background music and paging system, digital wayfinding and digital signage throughout the mall. Our design provides an intelligible and clear audio experience without compromising interior aesthetics. We integrated the digital wayfinding system into the city’s first smart community, and it provides subway and transit information along with the retail and restaurant details. SM&W’s AV team also designed a large, floor-to-ceiling digital display systems for branding, retail sponsorship messaging and advertisements.
