SM&W Contribution

SM&W provided acoustical, audiovisual, information technology and security consulting for the new Salesforce Transit Center. The new facility is located in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood, and will replace the existing, outdated Transbay Terminal. It will also extend the existing Caltrain Station to the new terminal, creating a rooftop city park.

The project is a state-of-the-art multi-modal transit station in downtown San Francisco, linking 11 transit systems and connecting the city to the region, state, and the rest of the United States. The Salesforce Transit Center will transform the area and create a Grand Central Station of the West, centralizing the region’s transportation network by accommodating nine systems under one roof: AC Transit, Caltrain, Muni, Golden Gate Transit, SamTrans, Greyhound, BART, WestCAT, and the future High-Speed Rail.
