The new Yolo County Courthouse features 14 courtrooms, a hearing room, conference and training rooms, holding cells and Yolo County judicial administrative offices. The building replaces seven court facilities within the county.
Our acoustical team concentrated on interior sound-isolating construction, maintaining sound isolation between courtrooms, common spaces, mechanical spaces and other critical areas.The audiovisual team designed systems for courtrooms, conference rooms, training rooms and support spaces, including video arraignment and teleconferencing, distance learning, digital evidence presentations systems, touch-panel controls and a building-wide distribution system. We also designed comprehensive IT infrastructure and a converged IT network system design to handle complex operational needs.
