Presence Health prioritized privacy for both the private and open-office areas, and our acousticians coordinated with the design team to control noise issues in and between spaces. We designed a sound-masking system, enhancing privacy in the open-plan areas, and complemented the system with sound-absorptive ceilings.
To encourage collaboration, the audiovisual team specified cameras, microphones and audio processing for guest offices and small meeting spaces. The most complex and challenging, the corner conference rooms and board rooms required wireless presentation for up to eight people using traditional conferencing equipment.
SM&W security consultants assessed existing building systems and infrastructure and designed systems to complement and augment them. The design expanded Presence Health’s access control, alarm monitoring and video surveillance systems, and it allowed local monitoring by staff.
