The Deloitte HIVE (Highly Immersive Visual Environment) project involved the renovation of existing office space in Toronto, Ontario. The floor plan is divided into two sections, the client space & employee space.
The client space is used for workshop sessions with clients where they can use interactive technology combined with custom designed software to present various forms of analytical data. Deloitte employees can interact with the data and manipulate it in real time to help visualize different scenarios & solutions for a client.
All of the AV devices in the different meeting spaces within the main client area are tied together acting as one large system, allowing for any source to be routed to any destination. Users can relocate an active data analysis session to different or multiple displays within the room, or to a completely different room in the client space without having to close out or save their session.
The employee space houses private offices, collaboration areas and a HIVE rehearsal room. The rehearsal room allows employees to practice their presentation sessions before going live in the client space.
