SM&W Announces 2024 Promotions

I’m excited to commemorate this year’s promotions, acknowledging skilled professionals throughout the firm who have played a crucial role in SM&W’s success through their commitment and guidance. John Mohan has recently been promoted to Principal, and he has assumed the role of Office Manager for the SM&W Greater Philadelphia Office. John brings over 27 years of experience to his expanded role and in his new capacity, John will spearhead initiatives aimed at team development and expanding our client base within the region. Part of John’s focus will include broadening the firm’s Greater Philadelphia Office to include multidisciplinary services, adding IT, AV, Security, and Acoustics to the current team of experienced Medical Equipment Planners.

 

Robyne Hamilton has been promoted to Principal, Director of Healthcare Client Services.  Robyne Hamilton joined SM&W’s Washington D.C. office in 2000 and has over 20 years of experience in the AEC industry. This promotion highlights Robyne’s exceptional talent for cultivating relationships across the healthcare industry, her dedication to keeping SM&W foremost in clients’ minds, and her keen understanding of client requirements. Through Robyne’s efforts, she has helped position SM&W as the preferred partner for leading healthcare institutions around the world.

 

Nathan Sibon has been promoted to Principal in our San Francisco office and is an accomplished acoustician with over nine years of experience and specialized expertise in noise control for architectural and MEP systems. He joined SM&W 5 years ago and has substantial experience developing effective solutions for acoustic privacy, as well as noise and vibration control for various building systems. Nathan’s experience covers a wide variety of project types, including mixed-use residential developments, healthcare and biotech, higher education, corporate interiors, and more.  Nathan loves “noise hunting,” observing conditions on-site and using critical thinking skills to diagnose problems in existing buildings.
