Gil Lopez is an Audiovisual Technologies Design Engineer, with specialties in the areas of Exhibit and Experiential Technology, Audiovisual Technology, Information Technology Integration, and Show Control Automation.

Gil is experienced in project management in multi-discipline projects that integrate audiovisual, telecommunications, security, information technologies, and supporting peripheral technologies. Currently practicing in museums, special exhibits, thematic design, and experiential AV.

Gil works closely with his clients to help their project concepts evolve from conception to completion. He oversees the engineering, design, and construction of technology systems with diverse teams of engineers, designers, and integrators. When Gil is not busy designing systems with his peers, he volunteers in the community Emergency Operations Program, coordinating response activities and assisting with the maintenance and upgrades of the radio communications systems. He also volunteers for the Fire Dept during emergencies, a legacy from his father, an avid firefighter, and instructor in the Texas A&M Firefighter Training Academy.
