Matthew Lammers is an acoustical designer with 19 years of experience based in SM&W’s New York office, bringing deep expertise in the acoustic performance of built environments.
Over the course of his tenure, Matthew has contributed to a diverse portfolio of domestic and international projects, collaborating closely with architects to optimize room acoustics in critical spaces and develop innovative, practical solutions for mechanical noise control.
Matthew’s work also includes the assessment and mitigation of transportation noise and vibration, the design of architectural isolation systems, and the analysis of both existing conditions and new construction challenges. Whether working on new builds or renovations, Matthew plays a key role in identifying potential acoustical issues early in the design process, clearly articulating the strengths and weaknesses of proposed strategies, and partnering with project teams to implement effective, budget-conscious solutions.
