Teriann Pikarski brings 28 years of medical equipment planning and procurement management experience to SM&W, supported by her healthcare background and business practices.
Teriann’s projects have included planning and procurement for hospitals, major medical centers, and teaching facilities all over the county. Her work includes prestigious institutions such as the University of Chicago Hospitals, where she broadened her experience in procurement and strategic sourcing.
Teriann’s combined skills and background allow her to translate and coordinate the requirements of the three major groups that come together in the medical equipment planning process: clinicians, design/construction team members, and equipment manufacturers. Her excellent negotiation skills during procurement translate to clients saving millions of dollars. She also touts experience with strategic planning, multi-year replacement planning, yearly capital budgeting processes, and RFP/purchase order development.
