With expertise spanning planning, design, and project management, Rob has been a driving force behind SM&W’s growth and innovation since joining the firm 20 years ago. As Chief Operating Officer, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s operational strategy, optimizing processes, and fostering collaboration across global offices. Working closely with key stakeholders, Rob develops and implements policies that advance the firm’s culture, vision, and long-term business objectives.
Before becoming COO, Rob served as Integrated Communications Technology Manager, where he oversaw the convergence and technical coordination of SM&W’s AV, IT, and Security teams. He also led the development of design-related policies and procedures, ensuring quality assurance across all projects.
Throughout his tenure, Rob has contributed to numerous large-scale and international initiatives. He began his SM&W career as a Senior Associate in Physical Security and Systems Design, where his technical expertise guided the implementation of integrated security systems for global projects. As he advanced to Senior Principal and Global Physical Security Discipline Leader, Rob played a key role in establishing the firm’s security practice initiatives and technical design standards.
