As director of the Denver office, Ms. Hougland brings 25-plus years of expertise in
acoustic design, theater consulting, environmental noise control, and mechanical noise and vibration measurement and analysis. She is also experienced with audiovisual design, and has managed a range of projects including performing arts facilities, convention centers, research laboratories, courthouses, hotels, museums, and civic, religious and educational institutions.
Ms Hougland holds a B.A. in physics from Wittenberg University and a Masters in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas, Austin. She is a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America.
Ms. Hougland serves as acoustical expert on the development of the new standard for Colorado Collaborative for High Performance Schools, which is more stringent than LEED. Read more about it |
