Mr. Charles Stewart joined SM&W in 2019 with more than 20 years of experience in IT engineering, design, and installation. A dual-disciplined design consultant, he is proficient in low-voltage power and security system design, access control systems, wireless/radio/cellular infrastructure, DAS, and electrical systems.
Before joining SM&W, Mr. Stewart served as a Senior Communications Engineer for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), where he was responsible for designing communications, network security, and low-voltage power systems throughout the Metro area.
His extensive engineering background has honed his expertise not only in telecommunications, electrical, and security systems design, but also in project management, leading large, complex projects that require close coordination with stakeholders and multidisciplinary design teams.
