David Goetz is a seasoned security consultant with a strong background in planning, design, and project management. Currently serving as the Integrated Communications Technology Manager for SM&W’s New York office, he leads the coordination of multidisciplinary teams across AV, IT, Security, and BIM to ensure technical convergence and cohesive project delivery.
As a subject matter expert in security, he brings a highly customized approach to design, aligning solutions with industry standards. He promotes a holistic approach to security and criminal justice, integrating operational guidelines, CPTED principles, and physical security strategies. His certifications, including PSP® and CPP®, along with extensive industry experience, demonstrate his expertise and credibility in physical security design.
David also serves as our Facility Security Officer, overseeing compliance for cleared personnel and projects. Additionally, as Director of Training & Education, he leads initiatives like SM&W University and Internal Training, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
